Job Purpose:
The Telemarketer is responsible for generating leads and booking appointments with potential clients for the sales team. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to effectively engage with clients over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact schools and educational institutions to introduce Digital School software and its benefits.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through outbound calling and follow-up.
  • Qualify leads based on their needs and interest in our software solutions.
  • Call existing customers to educate them on new product features
    Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
  • Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc., and present their benefits
  • Be responsible for crafting scripts for prospect engagement on Phone, Email responses, WhatsApp
  • Persuade prospective customers to buy by demonstrating how Edves products meet their needs
  • Book appointments with a qualified lead for the sales team.
  • Record and manage all calls and leads in the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless handover of leads.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly call and appointment targets.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and updates on our software solutions.

    Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a telemarketer or in a similar sales role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Passionate, driven, self-confident, and focused
  • Strong interest in education technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Positive and motivated attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
